Cal Poly wins its first ASCE Robert Ridgway Award, the equivalent of a Collegiate National Championship in Civil Engineering.

DeNatale wins ASCE National Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award in inaugural year

1998: National Concrete Canoe Competition
Cal Poly’s first trip to the ASCE NCCC in Rapid City, South Dakota:
“ACME Canoe” placed 13th overall.

1999: 3rd at National Student Steel Bridge Competition
Cal Poly’s second trip to the ASCE AISC NSSBC in Anchorage, Alaska:
Team places 3rd overall!

2002: Pedestrian Bridge Project
Cal Poly wins its THIRD ASCE National Community Service Award for the Reservoir Canyon Pedestrian Bridge Project.

2004: ASCE PSWRC Host
Cal Poly hosts ASCE PSWRC for the third time at the Cal Poly campus.

2011: Sponsor Cements Relationship with Concrete Canoe Team
Members of the 2012 Cal Poly Concrete Canoe Team stand next to the Hanson Aggregates truck. The two-time ASCE National Concrete Canoe national team was joined by numerous team alumni and industry sponsors to prepare canoe castings for the new season of competition.
